About us

We aim to protect our clients' reputation, keep their customers and save them money.

How we work
  • What we do

Oriel delivers repairs, restoration and mitigation solutions to the insurance industry. We have developed a network of suppliers from a variety of different trades who can work on getting your customers up and running as fast as possible. We take the hassle out of the repair and restoration work for both you and your clients and keep a sharp eye on costs.

We monitor the performance of contractors very carefully. Our strongest tradespeople know that they will receive more work from us, which incentivises high performance.

We can provide you with a full suite of solutions – from emergency make safe, an early restoration audit to a full project management. But we can also provide these services independently as well as one off work including leak checks, roof checks, subsidence work and asbestos work.

We started life as an integral part of our parent company – the global loss adjusting business, Cunningham Lindsey. Back then, we offered in house advice to our loss adjusting colleagues on repair and restoration projects. We realised that many insurers were crying out for this service and we’ve been independent for almost a decade now, but our core remains as a service provider to the insurance industry, and we have a strong knowledge of your processes and needs.

  • Where we work

Oriel operates in Australia, New Zealand, the UK and the USA. We’ve evolved with the local marketplace, so our services differ from region to region. For example, in the UK we often work on large building projects, whereas in the US, we concentrate on water mitigation work.

But wherever we work in the world, we are committed to delivering time and financial savings to insurers.

  • Our commitment to health and safety

Oriel is a professional safety conscious organisation which values the effective management of health and safety. Our objective is to minimise harm to persons and property by adopting a proactive approach. All work will be carried out in accordance with best practice, to the relevant statutory provisions, and with all reasonably practicable measures being taken to avoid risk to employees or others.

The UK Health and Safety Manual is available on request. Please contact Jacqui.oreilly@oriel.co.uk.
